WHAT IS EARTH DAY?

Earth Day has been officially celebrated worldwide in 1990. Originally in 1969, it was a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace (by peace activist John McConnell) In 1970, it became a day for environmental teach-in. Some communities even celebrate EARTH WEEK, which focusing on environmental issue and possible sustainable solution to protect our planet from degrading and deteriorating.
