The Snack Poster, 16x20, Maple Background
During Autumn season, Japanese maple tree leaves are spattered all over the streets of Japan. (There's also fried maple leaves snacks in Japan!) For this poster, artist Fanny Chu wants to depict a beautiful night scenery with falling red maple leaves.
When people think about "snacks," what first come in my mind is the snacks sealed in a plastic package and you can easily find them in a supermarket. What Chu didn't know was that many Japanese snacks were used to be freshly made as street food.
On this poster, there are 25 different Japanese snacks/street food illustrations. Each illustration was drawn based on real food.
Underneath each illustration, there is a list of ingredients of what each snacks are made out of. Sometimes, gathering a few ingredients will already make you a delicious homemade Japanese snack!
